I actually really liked some of the side characters and I’m gonna guess the next two books are about them but I don’t know if I care enough to read them.

OMGGGGG, Rae and Leon, what great characters. I love watching them develop through the story. All the little twists and turns this book has is amazing. By the end of the book I was on the edge of my seat. I highly recommend Her Soul to Take and I'm excited to read more from Harley Laroux.

I loved the vibes in this book. The gothic vibes. The magicness. The descriptions of the buildings and world was just so good in my opinion. Loved the magic/fantasy side of it. I definitely will be reading the others. I LOVE Rae and Leon so much. Cuties. LEON where do I begin. The way he’s so protective of her is just so cute. And I LOVE Rae so much such a slay and just a queen tbh.
