Seems like solid and honest advice, but really think it needs some references to studies to cement its reasoning. Made me reflect quite a lot on my own life; I'll be taking a lot away with me.

I can understand why this book is popular and highly reviewed even though I disagree with it. This book is the best possible version of man when you take God out of the picture and stop allowing that to be our driving purpose in life. There are small nuggets of actually good wisdom in this book you just have the slog threw a lot of garbage to find them.
Truly awful, unscientific, overwritten, dumb as fuck. A scant few buoys of good advice floating on a stinking bog of faux-masculine horseshit. When it doesn't read like a tract against a nagging ex, it reads like a rambling distorted worldview that's been Xeroxed and left on car windshields in a Walmart parking lot. Begging other men not to indulge this.
I was very hesitant about reading this at first, but I don't regret doing it one bit.
