Reminds me of the book Spork. This one has an okay story, but a really cute ending.

My kids are way past picture books but occasionally I still grab a few toddler books to read for baby gifts or to see if it's something to buy for my niece. This one was cute :)

Great book about finding our own self worth. Plus, it's really cute. Like, really cute.
I could see myself purchasing this one day.

I love this author's Little Pea book quite a bit. Spoon does not disappoint. Little Spoon is jealous of the abilities of his friends...knife can cut and fork can pierce, even the chopsticks look like they are having more fun. Mom spoon points out all the things spoon can do that the others can and this helps him feel a little better. But the best thing spoons can do comes at the very end and humans can do it too...and they should. Spoon is both humorous and touching, a wonderful combination if you ask me.

Very fun and sweet--a good balance of self-acceptance lesson and humor.
