Wondeful. Loved every page of it (except for the sports section).

It took me so long to read this book, because I wasn't able to read it very long before an uncontrollable urge to get shit done would overcome me, and I'd have to leave the book to do something that would develop my business.

That being said, what Gary talks about, his lifestyle and methods, aren't for everybody. If you take it with a grain of salt, and absorb what's best for you, then you only stand to gain.

Highly recommended for anyone in business, social media, marketing, and anyone who just wants to seriously DO stuff.

This book turned out to be a lot better than I thought it would. Gary gave excellent straight-forward advice on many different subjects such as: leadership, company culture, building a business, the power of gratitude, legacy, providing value for your customers, Facebook ads, Instagram, the future of social media, self confidence, parenting and much more. I really enjoyed this book.

***Get the audio book version. He went off script many times updating and sometimes completely changing answers he wrote in the hard copy version of the book. It's educational, inspiring and sometimes funny. Well worth the listening time. ***

Gary is the Man! Although he repeats himself a number of times throughout the book and some of the things mentioned are not news (if you follow him closely on social media), this book holds enormous value to anyone trying to make it in the business world today. Definitely recommend it to anyone!

Good book that is well-structured for an introduction into GaryVee and his principles.

Being a GaryVee viewer for quite a few months, some of the material in this book was repetitive and don't give any new insights. The last selection however was very interesting.

What a surprise read. For someone who hadn't heard of Gary Vaynerchuck apart from an appearance on "30 Days of Genius" I was utterly impressed by the audiobook. It was a combination of the topics discussed, the enthusiasm and authenticity of the author/narrator and also the context he provided. I recommend listening to the audiobook, since he changed some of the answers to the show and book, but also because I could things into a much better context hearing him answer himself than just reading the answers with my own voice in my head - if that makes sense.
Contentwise a lot of topics are covered, he gives his honest opinion and experience (at least it felt like that) on questions to various fields of business, social media and life in general. I especially liked how he wasn't sugarcoating things and said when questions rubbed him the wrong way, or pissed him off, as he says.
I can only recommend listening to this, even if you are not interested in becoming an entrepreneur or making it big (like me). This book will get you thinking about things and reflect on what you are doing, and that is never a bad thing in my opinion.

Been a long time Vayniac; started watching Wine Library TV in the early days, I've read all his books and listened to him speak a few times.

This is by far the most dense book he's produced..but with the help of a writer. Some of it comes off inauthentic, but more because his strength is in-person and video.

With that caveat there is a lot of gold in this book and some very actionable advice. Enjoyed the Facebook chapter, investing, hiring and leadership. Not quite as much as JJJRH or Crush it. Great overall book for a first time intro to GaryVee.

The thing about Gary Vaynerchuk’s ‘content’ - everybody needs it at some point of time. A spoonful of Gary’s content is actually recommended.
The subjects he talks about are limited and his message is simple.
Stop making excuses. Pick whatever it is you love and do as much of it as you can. Don’t let ideas of what you ‘should do’ weigh you down. The internet gives everyone a fair shot at success.
As much as I enjoy Gary’s content once in a while, I have to mention how one dimensional it is. There is much more to life than success, working all the time and just putting out content on every social media platform that exists. Meaning can be derived from life in numerous ways. While Gary doesn’t claim to know it all, I do hope that everyone who is in that phase where they need someone like Gary to vehemently tell them to get off the couch moves on and opens themselves up to fulfilment and joy from means other than just work. That isn’t denying the fulfilment that work provides, it’s simply noting that there is much more to it.

If you are going to read any of Gary's books, do yourself a favour and listen to the audio, they are always wonderful, and more like you are listening to a podcast versus a book. Highly recommend!
