I can’t believe that I’ve never read a Shalini Boland novel before! This was a fast paced psychological thriller that is full of twists and turns. You guess and you think you know what’s what, but as the story progresses you find that all is not what it seems. The pace of this book was tremendous and tense, I found it to be a thrilling, exciting ride right up to the final twist. Totally satisfying and highly recommended, Shalini Boland now has another fan!
This was my third by this author and it had the most annoying main character so far. But it moved so fast that I could ignore that. The mystery part was a surprise and there wasn’t a way to guess it so that was a first by this author.
I've noticed that I tend to gravitate towards thrillers written by people in the UK. I've read numerous ones and after a while, they're bound to get predictable.
This story was a little bland, in my honest opinion. The 'twist' wasn't anything super shocking, and the 'epilogue' seemed... unnecessary?
I've read many of these and most are better than this.

When they said it had a gripping twist, i wasn't expecting this.
3.5 the ending was a bit...WTF, nice little twisty!

This was yet again another absolutely fabulous read by this author. An excellent psychological thriller that kept me in suspense right up to the final page. A massive five star read for me.
Started at about 4pm and finished by 11.30 pm - a true unputdownable book. This is best described as a cracking good read. Shalini Boland is such a good writer, you can feel Lizzy’s fear and frustration. A geat tale with a nice twist.
It's been a couple of weeks since I finished this book (generously provided by netgalley, thank you!!) and I had to refresh my memory on it. It was an entertaining book, but not memorable. Once I re-read about it, it came back to me who was tormenting her and the story, but it wasn't a story that stayed with me, unfortunately.
