I love everything… except I really didn’t like Harlow’s character in this book. I’m reading this series out of order and am honestly considering not reading her book. Her reaction was excessive and petty.

A solid 3.5. I had to round out the WILD SEASONS series because I'm a completionist, but I have to be real with y'all — I finished this book about 10 days ago and I really can't remember... very much about it. The sex scenes felt a little dialed down compared to the first two books in the series especially, but I did enjoy watching Luke and London flirt.

I think what felt a little off to me was the stakes here: it was more about Luke and London figuring themselves out as recent college graduates as opposed to like, Oh Shit London Causes Major Drama By Dating Mia's Ex, which is how the book was billed. And tbh if it's a book about growth I would've loved to see more space on the page dedicated to Luke and London growing toward each other! It *was* there, which is what kept me reading, but I wish that had been fore-fronted.

I actually quite liked this one, not as attached to the characters as the other books but the main couple were decently written, although I’d have loved to get the conflict over earlier, just seemed to keep dragging out.

This was the classic boy meets girl where sparks fly, but there are a million reasons why they would never work.

Boy has closed himself off emotionally, having suffered a devastating broken heart from his first love. Girl is wary of all things male, having bore the brunt of a terrible betrayal on more than one occasion. However each is enamored, each wanting more than what's logical.

Thus ensues quite a hilarious look at Luke and London as they circle each other. Round and round they go, and thankfully it's minus the usual eye-roll inducing melodrama that's typical of their predecessors. This was probably second to Beautiful Player as the most funny, and have no fear, as always with these authors' books, the male is the standout star here (though London surely holds her own) and the smex is still hot, hot, hot!!

Would’ve been a 5⭐️ but Luke’s womanizing wasn’t my favorite. I just loved how emotionally intelligent he was even if he didn’t want to commit at first. I can relate to London so much too! She was a great FMC.
