Honestly was debating between 3 and 4 stars simply because there were quite a few pages I ended up marking. Nonetheless I stuck to 3 because although it was relatable and emotional in some sense there was some cheesiness to it still that ruined some of the better pages to me.

I remember reading this when I just got out of toxic relationship 4 years ago. I lost myself, I didn't know if I was worth enough. So I spent my time reading poetry(s) and this was one of them. I was glad this had helped me going thru things 'till I found myself back again.

want to get into poetry more, so i tried this one out. i did not realize that the book was by a male author and now that i know i am not sure how i feel about it. also, this was not much poetry as it was quotes... i don't know. it was fine. ??
