although this one was a nice quick read, i was expecting so much more of it due to the hype on social media. however, the poems weren't too deep, they don't have enough substance for me, some were a bit offensive as to blaming women for dating guys instead of waiting for a husband like??? the illustrations were nice and i did like some of the poems but altogether i don't support the hype regarding this book and probably wouldn't read it again.

It's very redundant. I cannot remember any of the poem by now.
I dont know, but I feel very weak and unmotivated after reading this book.
dependency is not something that is promoted in this book. Not the book that I would recommend.

It’s National poetry month and this collection of poems is everythinggggg!!! This is one of the poetry books I decided to pick up to read this month. My 19 year old self needed this. My 27 year old self needs this. I have not found one poem that I have disliked. Every single one I have related too in some form. I do not read much poetry but this will be one that I revisit. I normally do not flag my books but this one will be flagged. AND I plan on picking up the rest of his books. As you all can tell I throughly enjoyed and connected with this!
