What a fantastic ending to this trilogy! I laughed, I cried, I swooned, I felt everything! Such a great YA book series, highly recommend!! :)
Unfortunately I couldn't get far into this book without wanting to throw it across the room, which is a damn shame considering I adored the previous two books. I think the author is great, so I'd never say bad things. But as far as plot and development goes for the final book...it was poor. But as always, that's just my opinion. I first got put off with Marny getting pregnant and then my impatience was topped off by Anna's father saying the only thing they (her and Kaidan) could do was 'get married'. I was about done then.
I tried, I TRULY tried. But these things just felt to me like lame fillers. I'm not saying others won't like it all, because clearly, going by the amount of 5stars, many did. But personally, I found them tacky. Especially for a young adult series. It makes me sad, because as I said, the first two were great and I was so excited for this book.
Another annoyance was how, as what usually happens in YA when the sexy boy ends up dating the girl, Kaidan became a bit of a wet blanket. Other characters bugged me too, like Jay's attitude about the situation.
I am beyond pleased for Wendy getting on the best sellers list! I'm just feeling so guilty I couldn't read Sweet Reckoning.

3.5 stars
I quite unexpectedly enjoyed this trilogy. Amazing world-building, extraordinary supporting characters, a dreamy male lead, and an MC torn between good and evil. While I didn't dislike the final book, it was lacking SOMETHING for me.
There was a lot of action, which I appreciated. I think one of the main reasons I didn't like it as much is because the ending is all wrapped up nicely in a pretty bow. Maybe it says something more about me than the book itself, but I don't necessarily believe in completely happy endings.
So yeah, I didn't hate it but it could have been better.

1.5 stars (I have no idea, why I give it that much...)
It's done. Finally.
I guess I can understand that some people like it. Well, maybe... I imagine that if you are in a dark place, where you doubt everything and feel like everything is just too much and it's never going to get better, it can be comforting to read a book, where everyone is in love, hopes turn real and everything happens for a reason.
If you are in desperate need for an happy end, this book might just be right for you.
But it wasn't for me. NOT AT ALL. By the end I was trying to simply not think to much about what was happening and if it was realistic and just accept it happening.
But there were times I didn't know if I should to throw the book against the wall or simply laugh about all it's ridiculous cheesy cliches. Of all the characters I liked only one: Ginger. She was the only one who wasn't completely one-dimensional and seemed halfway convincing.
Maybe it's because I don't like religious book (which are mostly black-white-stereotyped), or maybe I'm just to cynical, but I continuely thought: seriously????
At least the writing is easy to follow, which should have made it a quick read. But I just could NOT get into it. But because of some reason I would feel bad to rant, I'm gonna stop right here. Even though I can not understand how it got such glowing reviews!!??
Anyway if you enjoy(ed) it I'm definitely glad for you ;)

Unfortunate that what could have been a solid series ended with a book that was 0.5% content and 99.5% teen make outs and groping.
Originally 4.5 stars, epilogue bumped it up to a perfect 5 stars.
I’ll keep this review short and sweet. (Ha! Get it? I know, I’m a nerd). Anyways, Sweet Reckoning lived up to all of my expectations and more. In this final installment, Anna and Kaidan, along with their allies, work towards fulfilling the prophecy from Heaven that dictates demons on earth will be sent back to Hell and those Nephilim who are on the side of good will have a second chance at Heaven. Many dangers and unexpected road bumps mar their path, but Anna never fails to believe in good, and to believe in Kaidan’s and her love.
Ms. Higgins has developed into a marvelous author, this final book in the series was her best one yet! I loved following Anna and her journey through all three books, and how her experiences and relationships from her life help to guide her and her decisions. And the scenes between Kaidan and Anna? Hot, steamy, tender, loving, anguished and beautiful.
This book brought tears to my eyes more than once (but never a full cry). The epilogue was EVERYTHING! My favorite part of the book (and those of you who’ve read it will understand). So, a full 5 star sweet rating. Bravo Ms. Higgins, you are on my autobuy list for anything you produce in the future. I highly recommend this series to anyone who likes YA, romance, and paranormal elements.

What a brilliant conclusion to such a fantastic series! This book would definitely be my favourite out of the three. I'm so sad it's over. One of the things that stood out to me most about this series is the characters, each one having a different personality. I loved them all ESPECIALLY Kaidan Rowe, my new fictional boyfriend. ;) I've always loved paranormal romances and I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone looking for a book to pick up out there!
