I thought the complete series was very well done but overwhelmingly sad. I realize it needs to be able to go in a circle but from a broader perspective that means Thomas forewent this adaptation of Heaven on this possibility to save his son over and over and will never be able to. Instead of a blessing I could see how a reader could view this as a curse though Thomas who lives in the moment and stuck in time, would not know his future thus perpetually make the same choices and have the same sad result.

Also I was disappointed I didn't have the opportunity to see Bill in the real world try to take up his post as the anti-Christ.

Still, despite these two things I thought the series was brilliant.

Though it was about three years between finishing the Circle Trilogy, I remembered who everyone was and what was going on. However, I barely made it through this book. It felt sloppily written, horribly conceived, and even more poorly executed. I don't think you can read, as Dekker thinks, any of them as beginning or end. In fact, I think very blatantly you need to read it in the order originally presented. I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone. I was bored with the Circle trilogy and almost didn't make it through Green. What were meant to be meaningful plot twists were seen miles (and by miles I mean books) out, making any magic strangely dull. I think his thriller books, especially Adam, are phenomenal. Personally, I think Dekker should stick to thriller and leave other genres alone.

First time listening to the audiobook and it was brilliant! This was also the second time “reading” this book after it was first released in 2009 (13 years later!) and was still amazing! Looking forward to listening to the whole saga again!

This series is definitely an evolution of C S Lewis’ Chronicles of Narnia! Amazing allegory with great theology behind it that brings Biblical stories and themes to life in a new light.

Really enjoyed seeing how the "beginning" tied into the "end" of this story.

Kinda makes me want to read them all from the beginning again :)

I'M NOT CRYING; YOU'RE CRYING. Seriously. This whole series is phenomenal. All of my emotions were plucked. I legit cried in some places.
SpoilerLike when I knew Samuel was coming and Chalise was going to die!!! I kept saying "oh no" on my run while listening to the audio book, and I'm sure people thought I had hurt myself.
I love thrillers, and I'm starting to get into fantasy, so this was a *great* combo series for me.

The first three books were some of my all-time favorite books, but I was disappointed with this one. It felt like Ted rushed this one to press.
