I’ve read this book several times, and I love these characters more every time. The characters and the friendships make the book, because it brings out authentic emotion, witty banter, etc. The relatability of the characters always makes my emotional response stronger. I get more annoyed at Liam for unilateral decisions he made or frustrated with Josie for her actions at certain points. And then there’s the emotion times. Noah, Peyton, and Elle often steal the scenes, and I’m so glad to know that this wonderfully built Beaumont world continued on as a series with the rest of the band, and now a next generation series with the kids! While there was a lot of drama and behavior I didn’t enjoy, it was a part of the overall journey of the story, and I loved how it ended. The whole series is a must read for me!

The story is beautiful, and, seriously, I really got excited when, before a chapter, the song was one by Bruno Mars (I think it was Long distance) <3

While I enjoyed this book, I never understood why Liam left Josie in the first place. His reasoning didn't add up to me. But boy was I glad when Nick disappeared from the picture. I guess he had the right to behave the way he did, but he infuriated me and rubbed me the wrong way. And don't get me started on the disgusting Sam. Gag! Overall a good read.

4.5 stars. I really wanted to not like Liam, but I couldn't help but love him. He was surprisingly understanding of the fact that he didn't know about Noah, and even though it was mostly his own fault for leaving and changing his phone #, he still could have been angry and been an ass to Josie. I was pleasantly surprised that he wasn't. And Noah was just such a great kid...
Spoilerfiguring out that Liam was his father, but not saying anything to the adults so as to not pressure anyone, but wanting to get to know Liam anyway and not being a jerk because his father had kind of abandoned him.
Cannot wait for Harrison and Katelyn's story!

Sweet and easy to read. Even if the MMC is a bit dense. Makes it true to life because most men are.

shhhhh. Don't tell anyone, but this is my fourth time reading Forever My Girl. I heard they were making a movie and I just couldn't resist. I am so glad I did. The Beaumont Series, is like a potato chip--I can't have just one. I am now finishing up book four.
So what makes the book so wonderful--rockstars, second chance romance, small town romance, realistic and never over the top. These are all genres that make me gush. Liam Page (Westbury) is the gorgeous rockstar that comes home for his friend's funeral only to discover what he has been missing. I fell in love with him in that moment. Instead of having a tantrum, he makes plans for a better tomorrow. He takes steps to make his high school love, his forever girl.

So I read it again today (1-20-18) because the movie released yesterday. It isn't playing any where near me so I read the book ad binged on the soundtrack. This book is amazing and heartwarming every time I read it. The story never gets old.
