This was such a fun and quick read. The plot and world building was really interesting. I would say this was a dark fantasy romance. It had a hint of spice. I really wished there were more romance between Morgan and Draven BUT now that I read the ending, I can see that the author built us up for the next door. Which I will immediately be reading after this review.

I took off one star because I honestly didn't like the whole Florain part. I felt like it was a little unnecessary and overdone? Maybe that's me but I loved everything else in the book. It all meshed well together and the story was beautifully told.

Too similar to another storyline I’ve read in a different series

Loved this book!

This is what happens when you take a classic Arthurian Legend and swap alignments. Arthur is the villain and Morgan is the protagonist! While Lancelot and Merlin are women too! I couldn't get enough of the gender swapping going on in this book. The storytelling was superb and a delight to read. Nicely paced and overall wasn't bogged down in world building and info dumping. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
