It starts off really good, but it lost me somewhere in the middle. Eagerly finished it, though. Also, a turtle? What the hell?
Good lord. This book has me so utterly torn. There is so much of worth here, gems of real clarity and brilliance that are diluted and undermined by so much more tiresome unending exhausting drivel.

This book took a while to read but boy was it worth it! Other than the over description of women and their bodies as well as the whole fiasco at the end of chapter 21, this is one of the best books that I’ve read.
This book is obviously very long so it did in fact take a while to read but when it’s listened to with the audiobook it makes it just that much better. I would recommend reading the book first and then watching to movie because the book had a lot of detailed that the movie doesn’t include.
But if you’re like me and you’re a visual person then you would watch the movies just to see what the characters look like and to be able to compare and contrast the events from the book.
If I could read this book again then I would probably read it faster than I did the first time because it did take a while to get to the good part.
