This is the second book in the series and starts after a heart stopping cliffhanger. It’s good to be back with the gang but man are they in a predicament. The beginning of this book is pretty dang hard. The middle is pretty angsty too and the end made me actually scream.
We get more of the men’s POVs in this book and get to see more about their motivations and their histories. Honestly I just love them all. I get it Eden, I totally get it. But dang… juggling looks hard…
Eden’s character moves forward, especially towards the end of the book. But I still end up pretty mad at her (I’m sure I’ll get over it before the next book).
The newly introduced characters are a mixed bag. They all add to the story but how I feel about them is all over the spectrum and that’s all I’ll say about that.
This might be the spiciest book I’ve ever read. Not because the amount of spice but because the quality of the spicy scenes. I definitely had to google things.
