Things I enjoyed about this book: both characters are deep and interesting on their own and the overall premise is really cute. The FMC has been in love with her best friend and when she catches the MMC about to declare love for that friend's fiancé. Oh and they are brothers. Where I think this book struggles was multiple repetitive conflicts and the inconsistent internal conflict for both MCs. That said, I am glad that Gamez didn't pull any punches in making the brother really smarmy and gets what is coming for him. Drink this book: Grab a skin contact white wine like a ramato-style pinot grigio, and enjoy it with Marcela's mom's salsa.

Ben sucks!!!! The premise itself is pretty messy but the constant confusion and back-and-forth really ruined it for me, I was annoyed a lot of the time and had to push to finish it :(
