I picked this up as a nice little cleanse between some heavy hitting fantasy as well as a festive Love Day read and it did not disappoint!!
This was such a cute and fun read that still managed to take a pretty deep look at some deeper and darker parts of humanity and love and past traumas and how all of those things can interconnect and effect one another.
I loved Marcela and her journey to trusting in herself and the unknown.
I’m obsessed with Theo and his painful openness.
And I love love love that everyone got what they needed by the end.

I enjoyed this read. The MMC was a cinnamon roll kind of guy disguised as a “bad boy”. Liked the fake dating trope but I was wishing that they would get over the miscommunication just a little faster.

decently enjoyable romance i loved the plus size and Latina representation from the FMC. funny i read 2 librarian books in a row though lol. Ben was genuinely infuriating from the beginning his stupid fat phobia was so obvious plus how he kept marce on a string leading her on while low-key emotionally cheating on his long term gf. i really think he deserved a worse fate. i liked that theo and marce managed to work out their own issues and communication problems well.
