I was so pleasantly surprised by this book! I usually don't love the fate dating trope especially when the two leads are in love with other people, but wow! Gabriella Gamez did such a great job at making Marcela and Theo's connection feel genuine. It wasn't love at first sight which would have been so unbelievable for these characters. The way their unrequited love faded and their love for each other grew was perfectly paced and relatable! I look forward to more books by this author.

This was really fun. There's some bits where I was absolutely giggling and speechless and other moments I was rolling my eyes, but it was all worth it.  

Marcela experiences some varied confidence in her body and her outfits that I can really relate to, and although I was yelling at her to just SAY IT the whole book, I still loved her. 

The only thing that really killed me was every time she said "We're rebounds " 😂😂😂
