I read a bit of the Rokesby series every night before I go to bed. This book was an easy read. I didn’t not enjoy it. However, there were parts that were slow and I didn’t love the characters. In addition, while it’s easy for every Julia Quinn book to predict who will end up together in the end, this book was predictable in many others ways as well.
Overall, I was happy to pick this book up to read it before bed, but I had no trouble putting this book down to sleep. This was my least favorite in the Rokesby series.

This was SO different than what I’m used to for regency/historical romance and I absolutely loved it!! This would have been a solid 4 stars if George hadn’t of been a twit & kept secrets toward the end. The ship scene saved things for me thankfully 😊

But overall so much fun & now I need to find out what happens with Andrew.
