I've been sitting here for a while now trying to work out what to say about this book and to write a cohesive review (my reviews don't usually end up that cohesive anyway really!) and I just don't know what to put.
I liked it but it wasn't as good as I thought it would be yet it wasn't terrible. What I'm trying to say is it's a so-so book that i feel pretty blah about.

Exceeded every expectation I had of Miss Schumer's versatility both as a humorist and as a journeyman of the life that inspired and fed that sense of humour. Her heart is opened for all to see, her life laid bare to scrutinise and absorb in every which way one wants. But all I took from it was the great opportunity to be a part of an introspective journey of a remarkable lady who just made me realise how much more of her I would like to get to know. I hope she keeps her colourful life embedded in her work, just as much as before, and just as unfiltered as always. I truly hope she writes again and the remarkable opportunity of getting to know Miss Schumer further along in her life comes along once more, in paperback or hardcover.

Seriously have Amy read this for you. It's not as funny as some of the other celebrity memoirs I've read, but I think her point is that it's not supposed to be - it's a very cool series of essays about different parts of her life/personality.
I laughed out loud throughout this book. Schumer's voice is readable, engaging, and endearing. she makes pertinent statements about women and provides an unabashedly female perspective that does not make excuses for not aligning with society's rules, while being funny. timely and entertaining.
