This book was a lot of fun to read. It was even more fun because I read the audiobook version with Amy Schumer herself reading it. She is funny, intelligent, and a badass.
I did realize that her and I would never be friends. We are as different of personalities as you could possibly be. But that's ok. She is a comedian and I'm an engineer, lol.
Before reading this book I thought she was cool and badass, and now I know she is even more cool and more badass. The only thing I didn't care for was her freely talking about doing drugs, as if it was no big deal. If not for that part, I would say this would be a good read for young women so they have a role model with a healthy self-esteem.
That being said, I have great deal of respect for Amy for being real.

I have enjoyed many of her performances, but I just could not get into this book.
It's funny to hear thoughtful reflection from someone on the younger side of life. I like Amy Schumer. I enjoyed this book much more as an audio book as it made it more like her stand-up. There were times where it was a bit too much, but overall I enjoyed it. I appreciate her honesty and her message of empowerment.
This book gave me all the feels. I cringed at her openness and honesty, laughed at her crudeness, and even teared up at her depth and vulnerability. After reading this, the one thing I know for sure is that my respect for Amy is through the roof.

Decent, but I think I like Amy Schumer better now.

Not as funny as I was anticipating, but an easy and enjoyable read. Amy Schumer gives you a vulnerable look into her life and challenges and fits in a few laughs too.

Surprisingly good book even if there were moments which you could classify as TMI 😂 Amy Schumer is authentic and shares real life’s stories, which you relate to more than you would think! Defo give it a try and don’t stop at the 1st chapter it gets better!

This was very funny, and surprisingly candid which made it moving and relatable. At times it was a bit of an anthem, calling to women (and men) to stand up for themselves or each other in different circumstances or to shrug off problematic stereotypes, cultures, or expectations. Amy Schumer's book was as much a statement about who she is as it was a comedy routine, but also a statement about a variety of things she believes in. I was surprised at how much I identified with her, and I appreciated how willing she was to share so many of the most unglamorous aspects of her life. She turned a lot of her experiences, both the painful and ridiculous, into amusing anecdotes that many of us with similar stories might feel more comfortable sharing openly as a result.
