God, I can see why Gabe is every women's sexual dream or is he just mine lol. I love how the author makes him come across as this bad boy but deep down he has a beautiful heart that belongs to a sweet Harper. I love a good back history of two people growing up as kids together and found their soul mate at an early age but life seems to pull them apart for them to grow.
Now don't get me wrong I wasn't all, forgive Gabe and that is why I gave this book a 4 star and not a 5. I feel Harper needed to make him work a little more that she did. I feel the author tried to do this but it fell short on that part but that was the only complaint I have.
Now the epilogue well, I loved the little glimpse of every band memeber, it definately makes me want to read the other guy's books!

3.5 stars rounded down because Hero is tstl.

Gabe and Harper grew up together. She was 8 when they first connected. They were very close— soul mates—When she was 18 virgin Harper pretends to be a hook up Lucy and sleeps with up and coming rock star Gabe. He calls her the ow’s name. Then he humiliates her to drive her away so he can protect her for 8 years from the drudgery of being a rockstars soul mate. He removes his phone number from her phone and tell her to never contact him again. Meanwhile he’s effing a million groupies and waiting on her to show up at his club or one of his concerts she they can get back together. It’s as if a man wrote this scenario…He’s really pining for her…. She lives in the same city but he doesn’t know the love of his life is cleaning houses for a living while he’s rolling in dough and Ho’s. Soul Mates often do this…. Not…the mindset of the H was so stupid for lack of a better word. Anyway after buying this load of bs(the reader)the H does get better and more likable. The reconnect of the two is the 5 star part Of the story.
Then there’s some stalker fan /kidnapping filler to drive the story forward and cause some boring tension
So they can get to the ending and HEA. This book would have been better if the Tstl Hero had just been honest and admitted he wanted to screw the world of groupies for 8 years and when he was through he wanted to marry the fmc.

It was a solid 4 star spicy dark romance for 50 of 58 chapters. Then it introduced paranormal elements which was completely out of left field. I mean wtf, it just seemed as if L. ANN had written herself into a corner so brought in the paranormal element to get herself out of it. It just didn't make sense. And in no other reviews did people warn about it.

I think this is a good story however I listened to it and the female narrator really ruined it. She sounds a couple decades older than the character. For this reason I won't be continuing the series.

There was a lot happening in this book. It started off a little disjointedly for me, but quickly drew me in.
Harper is hurt and strong and wary when Gabe crashes back into her life.
Gabe is vulnerable and tormented from his rough childhood.
Their second chance is heady and hot. Gabe is dirty and brings it out in Harper. As she begins to trust him more, she allows him to open her up to new experiences. He brings out the wanton in her.
I had a list of who I thought the bad person was but was still surprised, even though the person was on my list.
I want to know who - or what - Deacon and Shaun are. Will they get books? Do they have books? This is my first L Ann so, I’m on a discovery trip.
When did the friend group go from Gabe, Harper, Deacon and Shaun to Gabe, Harper, Seth, Luca and Dex? Who is Lexi and how does she fit in?
The epilogues from each band member has me wanting more.

This is another of these books were the MMC screws everyone who crosses his path (cause he's got an image to maintain) and the MFC has bad sex with two guys. I really hate this typical double standard in these books right off the start.

She tries to stay tough but eventually gives in to his planned 'seduction' because he's the only guy who can give her what she needs - eyeroll. This is after he screws two groupies literally right before he plans to seduce her - as if that isn't enough to make you gag off the start. Who doesn't lust after a guy like that. One with other girls juices still all over him - cause he's one of those generous lovers who always gives oral.

Eventually she is targeted by a crazed fan (of course) and ends up paying the price for his fuck-em and leave lifestyle. But hey that's just baggage right - doesn't the asshole with the baggage usually pay the price. Oh wait he is - fucking groupies and getting high and drunk is his payment!

If you like the cliched-to-a-t rock star books you will probably like this one. It follows the formula and the trope like a blueprint. The writing wasn't terrible, hence the two stars rather than one. I also didn't like either of the main leads - and the lavender hair - she's gotta be different than other girls right to be special enough for him!

Surprisingly Amazing

So the first few chapters almost had me not finishing, but I'm glad I did, because this was an amazing story all said and done. So much emotion and chemistry

Tattooed Memories is not an easy, clean, funny little read. It's a wonderful story, beautifully written about two broken souls searching each other. Gabe and Harper are not easy to love, that book is a journey to get to know them, hate them, and finally love them both. It leaved me hungover. Thankfully, there are 4 more amazing books in that series.

I cannot recommend this book enough. It deserves 10 stars. I read this book as an ARC therefore I won’t give spoilers. Gabe and Harpers story will have you picking your jaw up off the floor, biting your nails, in tears, wanting to wrap them in security blanket and lock them in a room to keep them safe. It is filled with wit, banter and two people who have their emotions locked down in a fortress. Enjoy the ride and fall in love with Gabe and Harper! I sure did!
Also be prepared for strawberrygate! It’s HOT!

I love how these characters were developed from an early age. They become family because we are allowed to see them mature and develop and realize before they do that they are in love. They even from an early age are very protective of each other and know each other so well they practically read each other’s thoughts. This book is phenomenal! It is one of the best I’ve read. I’ve read it twice now and will reread it again once it’s published.

You are truly missing out if you don’t read this book. My advice is below!

Preorder then read this book! You will be glad that you did!
