Easy to read parables

This ends up being a book of parables, proverbs and other philosophical statements. It seems to drive from a number of sources, but most closely aligns with stoic philosophy. Worth the read.

This book takes the romaticized view of chivalry and uses that as a basis for these knightly rules. This means the rules have little to do with knighthood or beliefs they would actually have. As an example knights would not believe that all men(regardless of gender) are equal.

So what is this book. It is a book on what it means to be a modern knight. It's an instruction manual on how to be an honorable warrior in our day and age. I think that's pretty cool, and I think the layout of the book is pretty cool.

Overall I found the book to be pretty mediocre. Though presented well the content was nothing remarkable or new, basically stating be kind to yourself and others, stand up for whats right, and don't be afraid of conflict, but don't seek it.

There were aspects of this philosophy I disagreed with, and certainly aspects that I don't follow. I think the advice is generally sound, if perhaps a bit unfeasible, but so is any treatise on moral philosophy.
