2⭐️ Very disappointed with this one. I’ll say the Paris for One story reminded me of Lizzie McGuire. But the rest of the short stories were just stupid. I wish I would’ve just passed on this book, but at least it moved quick switching from story to story.
This short story collection was delightful. Not every story was a winner, but I appreciated the format. Short stories fit my current season of life. ⠀⠀

I started this on audio and picked up a hard copy from the library to read along. Sometimes I find my experience to differ between audio and print. I listened to a passage and then went back later read it.

A thoroughly enjoyable, safely familiar, and predictable read. I enjoyed the short stories at the end, yet they all seemed to share the same theme. I especially liked A Bird in the Hand. Something about the stories in this book makes the reader feel sexy... or is that just me? :D
A fun, lighthearted read. I especially liked the first story (the longest one, Paris for One). Jojo Moyes is a lovely writer. I feel like I get to take a step into someone else’s life for a little bit and look around. Her characters are real and likeable and her books are always refreshing to read.
This was a collection of short stories. I enjoyed each of the stories in the set. Jojo Moyes is a captivating storyteller.
slow-paced
Enjoyable read during the festive season. Easy and light stories that were heartwarming.
