Finally decided to quit this series; I should have done it last book. Boring, flat characters and not enough world building.

Fitting end to a great story, loved the elements of sci fi, lots of twists and turns. Will be reading prince of fools down the road, great series, one of my favorite books all time

I won't be wrong in saying that this has been one of the best series I've read in the last few years. Shoutout to my good friend Usama for recommending this to me.
As for the book, this was the best ending to the series there could be. While The Dead King's identity was predictable, the way it all ended wasn't. Might not have been what everyone wanted, but the end made sense in every way possible.
Jorg HAS to be one of the best characters ever created by any author. I just loved him, right from the very moment he was introduced in the first book. Maybe another one of those peeps I could relate myself to.
Not to be compared with other fantasy series rolling around. This one is a completely different thing. Highly recommended, at least for all the epic fantasy lovers.

This was disappointing. I won't say it was explicitly bad, but it felt like most of the book was just treading water, and the end was kind of hurried and random. Much worse than the previous two books, I think. I do appreciate that he ended the series here though - I certainly respect his willingness to let a story reach its natural conclusion and look forward to reading his next books, hoping that they prove to be slightly more polished and build on the impressive stylistic elements of the first two books in this series.
