Une excellente conclusion pour cette trilogie originale et totalement époustouflante. La fin était à la hauteur de l'histoire et du personnage principal !

A real page turner!

At times poignant but I think ending as a trilogy was a good decision. I’m looking forward to reading more of his work!

4.5 for the whole series. Nice, believable ending to a good story set in a realistic possibility of our world.

A brilliant end to a brilliant series! Books 1 and 3 were outstanding, the depth of characters, the mysteries, the never knowing what or who Jorg will kill next. The slow piecing of the story together was excellent and the ending fantastic. 2 5 star books in a row after Endurance and maybe another on the way in Chasm City. Great month of reading.

OK finish to series. Oerall, thought series would have been better after first book.

Earlier this year I picked a seeming harmless novel in the Fantasy aisles of Dymocks. I had no idea how much I grow to adored the dark, twisted son of a bitch this story followed. I remember when I first opened the pages of 'Prince of Thorns', lying on the old leather couch in the sweltering heat of the Aussie summer, whilst my partner typed away to complete an assignment, oblivious to the dark addiction I'd just awoken.
I was sad to see it end, but an end fitting that of Jorg Ancrath. Thank you Mark Lawrence for an unforgettable tale that will stick with reader for eternity.

Jorg has been haunted by his past since the first book. In the last one, he was showing more of his guilt and that continues into this one. In the first book, all he shows is anger but as he gets older the anger seems to slowly die and he shows the guilt every so often. He still has his bloodlust and willingness to kill and now that it's not as fulled by his rage it's rather funny to see him suddenly kill someone.
That ending...I don't think it could have gotten much better. I'm glad my theory from the last book turned out, watching it unfold for the characters was great. I wasn't sure how the series would end although looking back I don't think any other ending would have matched the series or done it justice.

OH MY GOD! What a book!!! AMAZING. Especially the ending. A truly masterpiece. Totally recommend it.
