I cried about 90% of the time. I resonated a lot with Savanna and Cael and I held a lot of emotions still from Poppy’s story. This was written absolutely perfectly to depict grief and its different manifestations as well as the work it that goes into healing, I would have just liked to see more of the 1-on-1 and group sessions throughout the trip. Tillie did a phenomenal job portraying different cultures and the views of life and death as well as how grief and healing is not linear and small things can trigger a wave of emotions.

Was so sad it was hard to get through at first. First chapter I was crying reopening the wounds of losing poppy. Savannah goes through this journey to heal and meets Cael. This story is heartbreaking and emotional but gives you hope that even when you lose someone they will always be there with you.
