Such a hard hitting, emotional read!!!!!!! It was done amazingly!!!!!

Savannah’s character was amazing. Seeing her come to terms with poppy’s passing and her grief was amazing. Showing her struggles and accomplishments throughout was so realistic. I loved the connections she made to the others on the trip, especially Dylan and Cael. Also seeing savannah around her family and sister, how they are and how they are coping a few years later. You could really connect with savannah through the book.

Carl’s character is so complex but you really connect with him. He was struggling so much with his emotions and grief for his brother. Seeing how he started to heal and open up, coming to terms with what happened and his actions afterwards. Just everything was so hard hitting and emotional. I’ve never seen a storyline like his and I loved it and appreciated it so much.

The way that the different types of grief and emotions/ storylines were written and represented were amazing. Written with so much care but also so true to experiences people have in real life. I know the author has written it from real experiences her and her family have been through. Which just makes this book even more emotional.

There were many emotional moments through this book. It will have you shedding tears. That’s what happened to me.
So many different types of emotions and thoughts. It’s just an incredible book.

Definitely look into the trigger warnings just in case before reading.

But I definitely think everyone could benefit from reading this book. There are many things to learn and appreciate.
Would recommend very highly

Truly heartbreaking but hopeful. The book flowed well and the characters grew on me. Each of their stories of heartache and grief from loss of a loved one just resonated deeply with me. I didn't expect to cry... although I should've prepared for it since the first book had me bawling my eyes out. This book is so hopeful, full of love and loss. Above all, I love the characters growth. Great read!
