I feel like this book was dragged out a little bit. There were parts that I was very bored of. This book is very heavy when it comes to loss and I will say it did make me cry several times. I just vibe more with the first one.

Tillie is known for her ability to pull those emotional strings and her new book - " A thousand broken pieces" is no exception. The author's personal connections to this theme has added a layer of emotional touch and authenticity. The book is based on themes of love, loss and healing.

The story of Savannah and Cael, two teenagers who are dealing with grief of losing their siblings. Savannah is mourning loss of her sister Poppy and Cael is struggling with anger after his brother's death. Life brings them together but to heal them?
They start finding solace in each other's company. I really loved the words, somedays you feel you can quote them or annotate them all!

Cole's writing touches a part of your heart and story of course will stay with you for a long time. What I most liked about the book is the raw, unfiltered emotions and depth. I felt completely drained and yes. after a long time, I just didn't want to talk to anyone or write anything or even be on insta. The book doesn't shy away from capturing both hope and hopelessness.
