This book caught me off guard. Its expansive story is one of great brutality and beauty. Estela and Teo made for an intriguing couple that slowly stole my heart. The pacing and world building were handled magnificently and my god the tension! Daniela A. Mera knows exactly what she is doing, and created such a magical and beautiful world. This was my first book by this author and it definitely won’t be my last. Cannot wait to read book 2!!!
