I think I have read too much dark academia because this whole book was really predictable and underwhelming. I was excited because dark academia, lesbians, and writing are all things I really like. Unfortunately, the pacing did not work for me, and there were various aspects I wish that had more depth. I just feel too disappointed.

Pretty atmospheric, I was shocked by the ending, and of course things happened between Felicity and Ellis.

I’m a wee bit conflicted. This book was.. decent. It wasn’t great or anything, but it was decent. I enjoyed the lesbian part of it. It was nice to finally read a sapphic book. I also enjoyed the murder mystery part of it, and the whole secret society type thing. I think that was interesting. I’m not sure how I feel about Felicity getting away with Alex and Ellis’s murders, but oh well. Overall, I give it a 4/5 stars.
