A little sales-pitchy but some great ideas based off the idea that if you don't run the day, the day runs you, so get a head start while everyone else is still sleeping in.
A self-help book to be more productive. Wasn't a bad book, but could have been easily summarized as "wake up early, do things that make you happy, repeat." Parts were very repetitive and Elrod treats the book like an infomercial multiple times trying to get his readers to visit his website or purchase his other works. I agreed with a lot of what he had to say and his story is inspirational, however, the book just had too much fluff in my opinion. Some moments swayed from his main message and parts that were hyperbole. There are better self-help books out there.
While this book offered me a bit of a new perspective in assessing and re-setting my current morning routine (simplified nicely into an acronym), the book felt like it was 10% content and 90% informercial.
He's a brilliant marketer and salesman - driving you to his website to download content to complete the exercises he lays out in the book - but, if you buy a book (thankfully I got it from the library) you might be saying to yourself "I bought the book in order for you to give me the resources I need; not so I can go to your website and download other resources."
I guess that's what you should expect from someone that was financially successful working as a Cutco knife salesman!

The writing is definitely juvenile but the premise is great. It's an easy read full of specific ideas and helpful hints. It's definitely motivating and useful!
Where to start with this book?
It's an interesting concept but nothing super-duper original. There is a ton of filler so, really, ended up mostly skimming it, to be quite honest, especially since the first 7% of the book is just testimonies of people. Yeah, a bit too much, in my personal opinion.
Is it a good method? Most probably. I mean, I'm a firm believer in mind over matter, that positive thinking attracts positive energy. I'm Wiccan after all ;)
Would I jump into the Miracle Morning bandwagon? I already practice a few aspects so adding some to it would only be beneficial, really.
So, it's an ok read but it could have easily been summed up in way less pages than it was, really.

The concept of the SAVERS is great. The book is repetitive and the author lost when when he discusses food. It’s a very male opinion for males, it’s terrible advice for women.

Spent way too much of the book talking about what the book would be about, and then meanders away from the topic too often.
Enjoyed the ideas and the mindset this book puts me in! The only thing that this book needs less of is advertising and testimonials. I was okay just hearing the author's side of his why and what made him change but the influx of testimonials especially at the end wasn't needed. However, I will be using SAVERS in my mornings! I definitely feel better when I do!
