Writing is decently cheesy but love the concept and digestible format to integrate into everyday life!
Riassunto del libro: svegliati presto la mattina e diventerai il nuovo CEO di Amazon
Personal growth books are always best, especially if they set the bar high, if the author has plenty of personal experience overcoming challenges, and Elrond embodies this completely. His enthusiasm shows through - he really can’t WAIT for you to be converted to his way of starting the day- and it pulls you along. I would have liked even more in depth talk on visualization and meditation, but this would be useful in any human’s toolkit.
DNF @ 59%.
I might be too cynical and too negative for this kind of stuff, but... I couldn't even finish the book.
I love waking up early, after sleeping at least nine hours, I love getting stuff done in the morning, I love a brisk walk and some meditation, so I kind of agree with the basic premise of the book, but the execution is mostly self-important and pompous to the point of eye-rolling and DNF'ing. Guess that's the way self-help books do things, and guess there's the reason I seldom read them.

The premise of this book is that the first hour of your day determines your life. I'm totally on board with that! Hal's suggestions on what to do with the hour seem to agree with every single other self help book I've ever read. I found his insistence on waking crazy early a tough one to swallow, but again, I don't think he's wrong. Having listened on audio, I'm knocking a star off for repetitiveness to the point of distraction, though in all fairness it may have been because I was straddling chapters between listens.

There are some great ideas here that I hope to add to my life. Wish me luck.

It's good, great message, but you get the point after 2 chapters
Good message, didn’t need to be as long as it was IMO but the writing is helpful for someone who needs things completely broken down.
