Secret Obsession

S. Massery

3.91 AVERAGE

Miles Whiteshaw is absolutely unhinged!!!! But I love it. This book was wild. There was a certain part in the beginning that really wasn’t my kind of thing and made me slightly uncomfortable but overall I really liked it and I can’t wait for the next two books!!!

I love Ms. Massery and her hockey boys!
Each book just keeps getting better and better.
But Secret Obsession and Miles’ is my favorite thus far.
I absolutely adored Miles.
I loved his possessive and obsession with the girl that caught his eye and then captured his heart.
He never gave up on her. He never tired of her. Quite opposite actually.
He did every single thing in his power to make her “see” reality.
My heart truly hurt for Willow. She was totally and completely destroyed and doesn’t know how to overcome what happened to her. She spiels more and more with each passing day.
But she is strong and capable but her vulnerabilities have taken the lead.
I loved the lengths Miles goes to to help her. To show her what she means to him and how much.
"You're mine, wild girl. And I will tame you as I set you free."
One day she will understand everything he did/does for her.
Unless her spiraling wins first.
While he’s trying to win her heart. These two definitely have chemistry.
It’s hot, it’s explosive and down right dirty and utterly wicked and delicious.
The pages are filled with action, suspense and spice.
It’s paced very well and the twists along the way had me on the edge of my seat.
And the whole story had me gripped and I couldn’t read fast enough to get to the next page.
I loved the series. I absolutely loved this book and I couldn’t get enough of Miles.

Not sure how I really feel about this book...it was okay I guess. Not the most terrible I've ever read but not the best.

Hockey hotties

I’m really into the hockey trope at present and the bully element is just the cherry on top, Sara’s hockey bully series is excellent, have loved all her previous books in this series and this story following Miles and Willow is fantastic.
I’ve just got to say Knox is a total ass***e, definitely can’t wait to see him meet his match after the way he treated both his brother and Willow.
Love Miles despite his total obsession with Willow, so good to see a man who knows exactly what he wants.
Really enjoyed this book but please read the triggers as it’s dark but oh so good.

Gosh Miles Whiteshaw was a lot to handle, but I loved his character so much. He's a tad psychotic but I loved every minute of it. Willow was great and I am so glad she got what she deserved finally after the disaster that was Knox. I loved how she grew and stopped her drinking which wasn't solving anything. The twists of the story had me on the edge of my seat. The spice was fantastic and I cannot wait to read the fourth book about Jacob. I loved this entire series and cannot recommend it enough if you like dark bully romance. However definitely read trigger warnings!

If you like to root for the underdog, you will enjoy this story. That said, The Secret Obsession is my least favorite book from this series. The story felt like Miles got his brother's leftovers, and he was okay with that. For someone who has been in love with a girl for a long time, he was fine standing on the sidelines while she was made a fool. His brother played with her heart, and then Miles played with it some more. Granted, she needed help, and he was there for her when she needed it. But in all honesty, it could all have been avoided.
