I am so deep into this series. These characters are living rent free in my head. Our girl Willow goes through it in this book. Miles has lived her every step of the way even when was to blind to see it. So excited to start on Jacobs book I have a feeling he will be taking the number one spot .

Wasn't very secret, for 1. For 2, i didnt really see why they worked. Not sure how to explain it, but the best examples of his obsession with her were in the past. There were one or two stand out moments that showed how much attention he paid to her (like the coffee buying and liquor situation) but other than that, nothing. I wanted to see more of the ways he showed his obsession in present day. Nonviolent ways.
Every time he wanted to show how obsessed he was, he just had sex with her. And although she grew to like it, the infatuation wasn't returned which is technically fine but lessened the charm for me a little. Every single game, he got into a fight. And despite the authors allusions, i wasnt in love with the other couples either. I gained no desire to read their books. Ironically, though the book was more him and their relationship focused (i barely learnt anything about her), i just didnt feel the obsession or like she consumed his every thought, especially for >400 pages.
