It pains me to say that I did not love this book. People rave about this book but I fear classics may not be for me. There were parts where I found the writing to be so beautiful and raw but for the most part the pace of this book is painfully slow and dull. It put me in a reading slump where I had to listen on audio to get through. I only started getting into this book once 60% through.

Amazing writing, to be honest I'm still reading it, a little at a time, it's very long. But each time I pick it up it's very visual and honest. Interesting time to live in, not easy.
