So I previously gushed over the Stanton Series and this basically the next story of another couple in the Stanton world.

For 5 years Bridget still doesnโ€™t know why Ben would say he loved her yet leave herโ€ฆ then he shows up in her life again and wants her back because he cant live without her. Gawd the agony of 5 years!!

But through out, thereโ€™s lots of grovelling, lots of suspense, lots of fighting and a lot of open door scenes ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ phew ๐Ÿฅต who doesnโ€™t like make up time ๐Ÿ˜‰

There were times where Bridget did get a bit annoying, but I did love her sass! ๐Ÿ˜… And as much as Ben was too righteous and controlling at times, you cant help but love that broken soul ๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿฅบ

This book could be read as a standalone, but so much better if you read the Stanton Series first, because thats where Ben and Bridgetโ€™s story really starts and it just gives you more context!

For the life of me, I couldnโ€™t imagine two main characters who are less likely to stay the course than these two. In what world would they even like each other, much less feel a compulsive draw to one another?

A lonely secret super sleuth MMC (

I LOVED THIS BOOK! Didge and Benโ€™s story is surely a special one and DID NOT disappoint! Swan, you have such a talent for writing and building up characters, I love your style! P.S. thanks for that plot twist around 93%, had me in sad tears and then happy tears!

Wow. Blew me away.

I could not put this ๐Ÿ“– book down. I had never read anything by T L Swan and now I'm addicted. Bout to fill up my KU with her ๐Ÿ“š books! Just the right amounts of mystery, ๐Ÿ”Ž suspense, romance, ๐Ÿ’‹ erotica, thrills, ๐Ÿ˜จ chills, & โ™ฅ HEA perfection. Plus, a story well written & intelligently told. The editing was excellent and the proofing was good. โœ Being an editor/proofreader myself, I tend to get distracted by typos & I caught a few but very few, which unfortunately seems to be the exception rather than the norm in this genre.
Aside from technical perfection, I absolutely โค loved this book. I was emotionally invested from the very beginning all the way to the epilogue.
I highly recommend it!!! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

My favorite book of ALLLL time!

This book takes place five years after Ben leaves Bridget and he has returned to Australia to win back his girl. Itโ€™s a standalone from the Stanton series and it is my favorite book of all time! Ben is a soldier in the United States Army and Bridget is a travel agent in Australia. He is Army Ken and she is Barbie Bridget. Bridge and Ben go through the pains of the past and trudge forward to the exciting future. The end will leave you teary and giddy all at the same time.
This book has given me all the feels. Iโ€™ve read it 6 times and each time I finish and am left in tears. You feel every high and every low. This is one of T.L. Swanโ€™s best books!

Oh, Ben!

"I left my heart in private boarding gate number 21"
My heart!! This book almost gave me a heart attack. TL had me going there for a bit.
Oh, Ben! So intimate and yet so dominating.
I agree that this book had some overall errors but the story felt solid to me and I was able to get passed them just fine.
