I read the whole manga a few years back, having watched the anime and oh my lord
The manga is 10000x better than the anime- the ending of the manga is good and well thought out (rather than it being rushed in the anime)
It is a journey, and I love being with the characters the whole time
(For reference- the only other manga I have read and loved is fruits basket; I have read some of another but I forget which)

I just finished watching the anime of this story and it's hilarious!
This is a interesting manga with a interesting concept. This was a first time read for a book that was published so long ago, so some references are little bit outdated, but it is still a good read for anyone who wants to give it a try.

After watching the anime 5 times I looked up the manga at my library and was pleased to see that they have all 18 volumes so I checked it out as soon as I could. There's some noticeable difference between the anime and the manga that I found interesting but it's sort of the same and I can appreciate that.
The art style is on point and after watching the anime so often I can read it in their English dub voices and it makes it so much better for me.
