There are certain mangas and animes that everybody talk about but I've never watched or read. I've watched and read tons (I know, I've counted) but I never got around to reading them and Ouran was one of them. So I decided to read it this year and I'm slowly starting to buy all the volumes because this was really beautiful and amazing and nice and the art really improves, it really does, over the volumes and it's funny and clever and nice. Sometimes it falls into the typical shoujo trap but to me, this is still beautiful and one of the best.

I love the anime, so much. I’ve watched it 66 times all the way through, it’s my comfort show. Decided to pick up the manga FINALLY (I’ve had the box set for 3 years). I knew there’d be differences but I’m only marking it 4/5 because I wasn’t expecting them and I hold the anime in such high regard. Great manga though, excited to get the ending I deserved several years ago!

I love how Renge's made up character arcs actually reflect each character's development throughout the rest of the series. She's surprisingly on the nose... XD
