I thought it was fantastically written for the most part but the ending...I don't know how to feel about it. It did knock it down a star for me.

Eerie and ominous story with a lot of suspense and commentary on the red light districts in Tokyo

really good writing and the vibes were immaculate, i could really visualize the settings very well and i was super immersed. however, the story itself was pretty meh. the MC immediately began suspecting the antagonist and was basically right about everything which just didn’t make for an interesting story and almost made it seem like there would be a crazy twist at the end, but there just wasn’t one??? kenji was a super interesting character, though.
