Everyone’s heard of the concept of women’s fiction. I’m considering this book and Harlan Coben part of the mens equivalent, that I like to call “Dad fiction”. This is books like the Alex cross series by James Patterson, James Bond, the jack reacher series, the pelican brief books, Michael borne, etc. those are all books that I think are fine for what they are and I get there is an audience for them butt they aren’t books for me. I can’t connect to the characters or plots.
This one is about a contestant on the reality show “love is a battlefield”. He found out he’s adopted on the show (I’m picturing this out of unreal) and anonymously went on a dna match/ancestor site. Honestly I was bored the entire time.

I just didn’t want to put this book down! It seems like there’ll be another book in the series and I can’t wait for it. I had read a book or two of Coben’s many years ago, but hadn’t picked any more up until the first book of this series, The Boy in the Woods. It was really good, but I think this sequel was better. It taught me about how messed up the reality tv world is, and how influencers make their money. And I’m interested in genealogy, which this book also goes into. Wilde is a favorite character for sure and I hope to read much more of him!

I haven’t read much of this author but this was an ok story. It’s the second in the Wilde series which I didn’t know but you can read it as a stand alone because you get the gist of the first book. Wilde is an ok character and in this he hopes to find some family. Things start to go wrong when people are being bumped off and Wilde manages to do what the Police The FBI and the security services have never managed to do. Catch the killer. It’s a bit far fetched but ok for a light read

Ahhh! LOVED!! First off, I love the mysterious character, Wilde, and the growth and maturity of Matthew in this 2nd book makes me feel like I know what David was like!! Crazy, right?
Anyway, this book has so much mystery involved with all the DNA registries and Wilde trying to sift through the family connections and getting to the bottom of the murders and the suspects, and let’s not forget that icky vigilante society!! Something is literally going on all the time!! I was so drawn in!!
And the ending!!! Oh my good gravy, you will not believe the ending!!

I LOVED THIS BOOK SO MUCH!!!
