A quick entertaining read but the plot was a bit convoluted. So many characters, so many random story lines that were thinly connected. It seemed like the author took many crime/suspense tropes from popular stories and put them all in one.

Harlan Coben's books are like a drug - you get addicted and need to read them all as fast as possible.

This is the second Wilde book, and this time we're diving into DNA data banks to find out more about who his parents might be. As ever, nothing is straightforward, and soon we are knee deep in murders and reality TV shows, social media trolls, vigilantes and the rest. Hester, Oren, Laila and Matthew from the first book are back and meddle like crazy - it's good to see that Wilde has people around him who care.

This one is a solid 4, which means that if you’re into mystery thrillers, you should read this one.

Harlan Coben has become my favorite author. His writing is entertaining; his plots well constructed, developed, and resolved; and his characters are deep and interesting.

This book is the second of the series, and I have a feeling that there would be a series here, but like all of Coben’s books, it can be read stand-alone. Of course, he’ll hook you and you’ll end up reading everything he produces.

Whether you are a fan of Coben or just like mystery thrillers, you should read this book.
