Since this is a trilogy, definitely felt like the book is still building up to a lot of suspense so it came off as a slow pace but I enjoyed this book. I love Elena as a character and love the moments between her and Yassen as well as with Fermi. The world building with an Indian cultural lens was also very cool to see, I look forward to reading the next installment
