Unlikeable main character. Way too much child exploitation without any sympathy. MC actually uses photos of one victim as blackmail. Gross. 

A quarter of the way in and the story itself has been so utterly boring that I don't even care what happens. The dolls, who are barely mentioned, have been the only interesting thing so far.

If you love name dropping and over the top and lengthy descriptions of scenes in old movies, maybe you will like this.

An incredible read. I love the way the author took the existing metaphors for Hollywood & made a magical world using them. The representation of gay women, particularly masculine gay women, made me so happy. Beautiful wlw sex scenes too.
