I ABSOLUTELY ADORED THIS GRAPHIC NOVEL. Honestly, this should be in every science class because it is such a beautiful story but such a strong message about climate change and how we need to take care of our planet. It warmed my heart and the artwork was absolutely beautiful

I was recently gifted "Aquicorn Cove" for my birthday by two of my very lovely friends. It's a graphic novel about a girl discovering magical seahorses who live in the coral reef. Unfortunately, their lives are threatened by humans' neglectful actions.

I thought the topic of climate change/ overfishing was handled quite well and accessible for readers of all ages. This is a topic that's very close to my heart and I think it should be important to everyone. Our sea is actually dying, we cannot just stand by and keep doing the things we have always done. Change is hard but as our protagonist Lana learns, sometimes it's really worth the end result.

This graphic novels aims to be educative, but that doesn't mean it's not woven into a heartwarming wholesome story. There's even subtle sapphic representation. The illustrations are so gorgeous, I wish I could have prints of them to hang around my room, honestly.

If you're into graphic novels, this one is definitely worth giving a try!

Super cute! This was an adorably illustrated story about environmentalism that really surprised me. I read a few Katie O'Neil graphic novels back-to-back and I wasn't prepared for how strong this story would be compared to her others. This was a very enjoyable and quick read with a great message.
