“Women aren’t rehab centers for emotionally stunted man-babies who think the key to a serious relationship is to just wait for the right woman to come along. You have to be ready to be uncomfortable, to stretch yourself, to be vulnerable.”

Not my favorite in the series. Alexis' story drug on. Not as much romance and the book club stuff we saw in the other books. Alao way more sadness and drama not a lot of humor. Don't recommend.

This has been such a fun series. I think each book gets better and better. This one is a Friends to lovers and I love how the friendship is always the top priority before romance even enters. The guys are planning a wedding which I also love more than anything. and I cant wait until the next book the Russian has been one of my favorite charters. Cant wait for to get the next book to read!!
emotional funny lighthearted medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven: A mix
Strong character development: Complicated
Loveable characters: Yes
Diverse cast of characters: Complicated
Flaws of characters a main focus: Complicated

This one is what you would expect based on the development of the series. A light and easy listen.

This one didn’t have much to it. I felt like the main plot device (the book club itself) hardly had a presence in this one. I mean, he barely read the book and then just decided he didn’t need it less than halfway through the story. Once they got together all the other problem were so....nothing? Like yes the stuff with her dad is really really tough, but tough for her not for them? And also (I can’t believe I’m saying this) but there were a few times where I wish we could’ve had a few fade to blacks. There were some sex scenes that were back to back to back and I felt like I didn’t have to be there for each one. I wanted more conflict and growing pains between them but didn’t really get that.

Okay, this may be my favorite installment in the series. I love Noah and Alexis SO much - and even though a piece of me would appreciate men and women being able to legitimately be Just Friends, I loved how their relationship grew and this foundation. Also loved that the guys called out the whole, "if only they'd just have an adult conversation," idea as a frustration because YES, it is quite annoying. Loved the drama, loved the intrigue, loved them.
