TW: aftermath of sexual violence, death of a parent, secret baby (kinda?)
I have one major gripe with this book, and it’s the fact that it took Alexis and Noah SO LONG to get together when it was so fucking obvious that they were in love with each other. Like, at what point were their friends gonna be like “it’s a well-known secret that y’all are literally soulmates”???
I basically loved everything else about this book tho! Beefcake, Noah’s hacktivism past, Toebeans Cafe, Alexis’s bravery, moments featuring The Russian, the sexy scenes, the consent <3

Not enough Book Club Guys, WAY too much Candi: Human Plantar’s Wart and Self-Absorbed Drama Llama. Alexis should have told them all to go jump in the sea.

4 stars given this genre. I picked it up from the library as a fast, light vacation read, and it definitely fit the bill. A good balance of conflict, humor, and romance. I’m interested in reading the other 3 books in this series. (Which, btw, I can’t stand the titles!!)
Read the whole book in an evening. Could NOT STOP. It’s so beautiful. This book found ways to really throw toxic masculinity out the window, giving every single man in the book an opportunity to speak truth, love, and encouragement to one another. So many toxic stereotypes are challenged, and I’m thrilled. I want to make every man I know read this book in hopes that they will all learn from the men in the story!
Can’t wait to read the rest of the books, because I didn’t realize when I picked it up that’s it’s the third in a series about the Bromance Bookclub.

Overall, I love the Bromance Book Club series, but I didn't like this one as much as the others. I think the story is interesting but I felt like I couldn't connect with the two main characters - maybe they weren't developed enough. They were likeable but definitely not as much as the characters in the first two books. This book wasn't as steamy as the other books as well - those scenes came off as a bit awkward to me.
A good story but I just couldn't relate to the main characters. Hoping the fourth installment in the series makes up for it!
3 out of 5 stars.

Just love an easy rom com series! It’s a guilty pleasure! This series makes me laugh! It covers good topics too! Big fan
Story of Alexis Carlisle (owner of the cafe) and Noah Logan (computer consultant/hacker). This friends to lovers trope was a good one! Bonus, while these take place in Nashville, Alexis had some family dealings down in Huntsville!
Alexis is approached by a girl who claims to be her sister who also happens to need something huge from her. Since the only family Alexis has ever known, her mother, has passed away, she doesn't know if she should open her heart to these people that knew she existed but never did a thing about it. With her best friend, Noah, by her side they deal but also not deal with all the really heartbreaking parts of their lives. They both want more but is the cost too high?, Will crossing the line from friendship to romantic relationship ruin what they have together?
I loved the first two in this series and couldn't wait to get my hands on this one. I somehow felt like we didn't get to know the characters very well, the book is entirely focussed on Alexis and we don't really get to hear much about Noah except for when he's with the book club or when he's sharing his thoughts about Alexis. Although I had some issues with this there were some parts that I loved like the wedding planning, the scheming, the references to toxic masculinity, the support that all the friends have for each other, and the willingness for forgiveness. The end of this book had me surprisingly emotional which I loved that I could get invested enough in the story to feel that way but overall, this book wasn't quite what I was expecting. I am definitely looking forward to the Russian's story though!

I was a bit nervous to get into this one just because I didn't absolutely love the second book in this series. I'm so glad I finally picked it up though. This was lovely. A great friends to lovers story. The couple I loved individually and together. The guys! Every time they were all together was hilarious. It made me very interested in the next book to get some questions about one of them answered. The cat in this was adorable and I was grinning during all the interactions between him and Noah. I will say the first book is still my favorite but this one brought back my love for this series.
