Este libro, me ha gustado. La trama me encanta, ese amor imposible destinado a un final trágico, me apasiona.
Lena es una chica de 17 años. Siempre le han inculcado que amar es una gran enfermedad que podría matarla y que será realmente feliz solo cuando la operen y le quiten esa parte de su cerebro que se encarga de las emociones. Realmente ella lo cree así, hasta que Alex entra en su vida. Un chico "curado" demasiado amable, y demasiado interesado en ella.
El ritmo del libro es muy bueno, y me gusta mucho como escribe la autora, sobre todo cuando llegan quizás momentos sin importancia y en un par de páginas te resume una semana sin que salgas de la historia.

Every so often I come across a book that utterly destroys all of my will to read--not just the current book--but all books. After four months of trying, I finally gave up on this book.
A good premise ruined by a crappy narrative, boring protagonist, and an uninspired plot. This should have been a home run, like many of the other similar books these days. Sadly, it murdered my inner reader. If it wasn't for my OCD for finishing books, I probably would have dropped this much sooner. A mistake I will not make anymore.

This book takes forever for anything to happen but I actually liked the Male lead and the fact that there was no LOVE TRIANGLE.

Even now, 13 years after reading the book for the first time, I think of it often. Read it countless times and loved it wholeheartedly every time. I own it in three languages and will recommend it many more times.
