I’m very annoyed by dostoevsky’s politics but I liked the suspense and there were some funny lines

TWO chapters in your EPILOGUE???? Chill out

Converting to Christianity in the last second??? 🙄 likely thing for Dostoevsky to write but whatever BORING actually it’s narratively supported but I’m annoyed by it

Despite its lengh, the story was easy to follow and interesting, mostly due to the character interactions. This may be a weird critique but I wish the murders happened a bit later on. They happen very early in the book, earlier than you would expect and after Raskolnikov recovered from his delirium, he didn't really seem to care that much about what he had done and the rest of the book is about completely separate things to the "crime." And the "punishment" part wasn't that severe either
