Actually a great book for a child also for adults.
Great book

Such magical journey of reading I've ever read. Pure innocence of child and the different perspective of education within society. My favourite comfort book.

So wholesome. There's so much love in this book. Its a very quick and simple feel good book.

Totto-Chan will always be the standard which I hold future non-fiction books and translated books :')

Having since read more translated books, I really have to commend the translation for Totto-Chan. It did not read as translated, and the writing was really beautiful. Sosaku Kobayashi is a truly inspiring educator and taught the children important messages that was not common in Japan at the time, which impressed me so much more.

Turns out I found the perfect, most charming book in the Little Free Library outside my house! I really needed this after finishing The Executioner's Song.

I did not know that this is a true story. What a fun school is Toto-chan went. Only if I found that fun school and kind headmaster. Anyway, the ending is the most impressing to me.

If you are interested in children education and want to be back to the time when you were young, this book should be in your must-read list. I think what the principal do with his school is very cool and suitable for the children at that age. I want to study in the school like that to bad. Maybe if I study in there, I will love going to school

Pertama baca pas masih jaman SMP, langsung suka. Dibaca berulang-ulang pun gak bikin bosen. Kepolosan Totto Chan, aktivitas bersama teman-teman dan gurunya di sekolah selalu menyenangkan untuk dibaca
