I loved this book! It was a little slow getting started and had a few slow parts but the characters are well developed. The characters draw you into their world and you can't help but love them. Their circumstances around why Sarah and Annie create their face cream and sell it to their rich friends will make you feel for them even though Annie does add an illegal substance to the cream without telling the customers or Sarah. You will fall in love with the characters and if you can listen to the audiobook, do it! Katherine Kellgren does an amazing job with narration.

Together they come up with a crazy scheme to sell beauty cream to a select bunch of rich women, by word of mouth. Capitalizing on La Jolla's focus on looks, the duo first approaches their book club, to entice them to buy. A secret ingredient will get them into hot water. Humorous and a good vacation read.

Great book club discussion book! Crimes Against A Bookclub is an outrageous and laugh-out-loud funny story of 2 friends who rip off the rich ladies from book club. At first, I wasn’t sure I’d like this one, but after talking through it with my book club friends, I realized how much this book got me thinking about and feeling things. From character growth/transformation to ethics, this made for interesting discussion!
I also loved the way each chapter tied a character with a book he or she read & how they related. Just a unique and fun transition technique.

Not sure I could get over the dosing with cocaine without consent 🤔🙄 resolution was a letdown. 2.5 stars for a quick page turner.
